Seasoned broadcaster Nana Aba Anamoah, and the fast-rising Dini-Osman (winner of multiple honours including recently, the Lorenzo Natali prize) have been announced new faces for GHOne’s breakfast programme, GH Today.
The pair take over from the dynamic duo of Kafui Dey and Baisiwa Dowuona-Hammond, who move on to other interests after three years of compering the morning show. While Kafui and Baisiwa will be greatly missed for how much mainstream goodwill they commanded over their tenure, their replacement, many hold, is more than capable to step in the role.
Nana Aba and Ridwan bring a remarkable combination of extensive experience, astute competence, and young verve —attributes which immediately shoot them up premium ranks in the time slot.
Formerly of Accra-based TV3, Nana Aba anchors the station’s evening news, “GhOne News Tonight,” as well as the political show “State of Affairs”. She’s winner of many awards, including Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) and Radio and Television Personality (RTP) laurels. Ridwan, who moved to the outfit from Class FM, is also a 2018 finalist for the International Centre for Journalists’ Michael Elliott Award, winner of a 2017 GJA honour for his report on water challenges in Northern Ghana, as well as the Best African Journalist in Peace and Security Reporting (African Media Initiative, 2017).
GH One Today airs weekdays from 6- 9 am on the EIB Network channel.
