When EL released Body Bag as build up to the third installment of his BAR mixtapes about a week ago, rumours started circulating about possible targets, but Citi FM’s Jessica Opare Saforo may have specified things.
In a recent episode of her TV show Celebrity Fanzone she categorically put to the Ga rapper that Body Bag was targeted at him:
“I spoke to someone behind the scenes who confirmed that the song was directed at you. I am telling you for a fact…unless my source is lying then I am lying but my source is very close to the artiste, EL,” she said.
Tinny, who obviously was disturbed and puzzled by the revelation, promised to retaliate accordingly in coming days;
“I will go back to the studio and come back hard on him [EL] like never before because I don’t expect that from him, because we are too cool and I have not said anything wrong for him to do a song about me …I don’t just get EL, the Bossy song was for him and he couldn’t reply Sark but we’re cool. Even yesterday, we spoke,” Tinny lamented.
EL has constantly paid homage to Tinny for his style and decision to rap in his indigenous style, and it is still not quite clear what may have triggered this U-turn
Celebrity Fanzone airs Saturday nights, and a repeat on Wednesday at 11am on Accra- based Viasat 1 TV.
